A & E beauty Supplies is a small, family-run business based in Chilliwack, BC. We supply certified electrologists and estheticians across Canada with professional-grade equipment, from Dectro machine (we're an Authorized Dectro Dealer) to the everyday supplies that keep a treatment room running. Karen & Kevin took over A & E in 2022, bringing an electrologist's understanding of the industry to how we run it, and we still pack every order ourselves.

The Dykstras

Hello! We are the owners of both A & E Beauty Supplies as welll as Swanson's Canadian Institute of Electrolysis. 

We would like to introduce ourselves to you as well as get to know you! Our names are Karen & Kevin Dykstra. We have been together for 23 years (married for 19). We live in Chilliwack, BC & have 4 children.

It is our intention to serve you with excellence. We are working hard to bring both companies into the 21st century with websites, social media accounts, online ordering, more supply options & much more!

A note from Karen

I opened my electrolysis business (The Sardis Electrolysis Lounge) in 2018. Before that, I owned/operated a daycare in our home. This allowed me to stay home & raise our children and was our first experience owning & operating our own business.

When I first started getting electrolysis treatments in 2017, I immediately knew that I wanted to get into electrolysis myself. I had thoughts of one day purchasing Swanson’s back when I was first going through my theory materials back in 2018, so it is rather surreal to be here now, actually doing it!

I love helping people and electrolysis has been the perfect way for me to do that. Now, we are excited to help even more people by training up more Professional Electrologists!
